What period of history would you change if given the chance?

I'm not sure if there is a point in changing any period. People will still be people.

I believe the outcome would still be of the same type, just maybe with different "players".
There would still be war, there would still be people who can't afford drinking water while others own multiple homes, cars, and even private planes.

People will still care about money, power, and themselves way more than anything else, so i believe the world would always come to a similar situation as its in now.
